The Road to Stanfest

Great to be invited back as an instructor at the Road to Stanfest. Hands-down, one of the best experiences of my writing life. And interesting, because they hire me despite the fact that I can’t offer much in terms of understanding and mastering the music industry. And definitely not for my good looks.

What makes this workshop different is that it draws all kinds of writers – new, mid-career and experiences. Egos get left at the gate, attitudes are of the collaborative nature, and there’s lots of time for one-on-one with instructors. Home-made food, beautiful setting, respect and support – couldn’t ask for more. Also, I’m very stoked about the other instructors: Kim Dunn, Thom Swift and Steven McClintock. Wow.

Really hope to see you there.
