			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last night brought us to a wonderful venue in Rossland, BC- The Old Firehouse. Restaurant, art gallery, great live music spot (shush cards on the tables), way better than average food (way better), and a creative, generous presenter who obviously values art.</p>
<p>The venue, restored by Zack-our presenter-is a marvel as to what can be done with heritage buildings. For all its talk on heritage, Halifax could tear a page from Zack&#8217;s book. </p>
<p>Cindy took a few pictures, and I&#8217;ll send them on later. In the meantime, over the hills and on to Salt Spring Island. </p>
