Day 4
Last night brought us to a wonderful venue in Rossland, BC- The Old Firehouse. Restaurant, art gallery, great live music spot (shush cards on the tables), way better than average food (way better), and a creative, generous presenter who obviously values art.
The venue, restored by Zack-our presenter-is a marvel as to what can be done with heritage buildings. For all its talk on heritage, Halifax could tear a page from Zack’s book.
Cindy took a few pictures, and I’ll send them on later. In the meantime, over the hills and on to Salt Spring Island.
